Rhythmic Movement in Stone, a soapstone sculpture, wins the first place sculpture award at the annual Greenville Technical College Department o Visual Arts Student Show.
The stone sculpture began as a soapstone rock I dug up in the woods of Cowpens, SC. Through much carving and sanding it evolved into a stone sculpture with lines that rhythmically move around the stone on all sides.
